The first substantial book in English to be published on the art of Champa, which flourished from the 2nd to the 19th centuries in what is now central and southern Vietnam, and is one of the least-known of all the Indianized civilizations of Southeast Asia. Amongst other items, the book illustrates over 100 major sculptures from the Da Nang Museum, but also provides an overview of Cham art history.
