An account of travels in southern China in the 1920s by the American, Harry Franck, who voyaged from Shanghai up part of the Yangtze and then by land via Jingdezhen and through Fujian province to Fuzhou. Onwards down the China coast to Hainan and inland to Yunnan, Sichuan and then across country to Canton. Interesting photographs of people and places. A firm clean copy with decorative cloth cover, ex-lib, a few stamps.
