GBP 160.00 Catalogue of an exhibition held at the Xi'an Museum in China on the life of the Tang dynasty County Princess Jinxiang (651-722). She was a granddaughter of the founding Emperor of the Tang dynasty and a daughter of King Li Yuanying of the Tang royal house. Country Princess was a courtesy noble title for a king's daughter. She witnessed the heyday of the Tang dynasty and her tomb discovered in 1991 revealed a rich selection of burial objects, particularly tomb figurines, that demonstrated the Tang cultural contact with the 'Western Regions' and beyond.
