GBP 80.00 Catalogue of a loan exhibition at the Qinshi Huangdi Museum located at the site of the Terracotta Warriors outside Xi'an in China. Showed extraordinary artefacts associated with the State of Chu which flourished during the Eastern Zhou dynasty, Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. The objects shown are mostly extremely ornate and fine bronzes and exceptionally rare lacquered wooden objects. Some of the objects are very well-known. Also includes a couple of ceramics and some replicas of Warring States textiles and garments.
