Catalogue of an exhibition at the Miho Museum and then at the Okayama Orient Museum in Japan showing 188 fine and rare examples of Japanese glass dating predominantly from the Edo period plus a few pieces dated as early Meiji. A wide variety of objects from bowls, sake cups and sake flasks to vases, screens and lidded containers. All the exhibits come from the Bindeisha collection formed by the collector, Daito Norisato, and held in his private museum. Illustrated throughout in colour and with dual texts in Japanese and English. A very welcome addition to the sparse literature on this subject. Hard to obtain
