An important and luxurious publication project by the Muban Foundation in London. A collection of 60 original prints by contemporary artists in this exclusive portfolio in order both to benefit the individual artists and to bring contemporary Chinese woodblock prints to the attention of other printmakers, collectors, dealers and museums outside China.
  Each of the prints has been produced by the artists in a strictly limited edition of 155. One original exemplar from each edition is included in the portfolio here described. Of the entire edition, 5 are 'hors de commerce', 60 formed portfolios given to the participating artists, and the remaining 90 have been made available to the public.
 In the accompanying book, the prints are finely reproduced in colour and joined with authoritative essays by An Bin, Julia F. Andrews, Ellen Johnston Laing and Frances Wood. Hwang Yin has provided biographies of the artists and David Barker contributes a glossary of Chinese printmaking terms.
 A superb publication of great significance in this new and exciting field of collecting.
 A work that ever increases in price. Collected by both museums and private collectors. Only a few complete sets remain available.
