Journal of a voyage undertaken by one Dr. Arce. Illustrated by Schiff. Colour illustration of junk and steam ship to cover. Black-and-white text drawings throughout by Schiff showing characters, scenes and vignettes of the journey from Buenos Aires to Shanghai. The voyage went via South Africa, across the Indian Ocean to India and then on to China. Just under half the book is devoted to China. Text in Spanish. A very rare Schiff item. The first time we have handled this work.
