A good work showing the Tang dynasty output of the Gongyi kiln located in China's Henan province. Primarily sancai wares, including tomb figurines and smaller wares such as bowls, dishes and tripods. Also shows white-glazed, black-glazed wares and other monochrome glazed wares. Illustrated throughout in colour and showing many fine pieces.
