Written by Song Ci (1186-1249). Late Qing edition of a work first published in 1247 and highly important as the oldest extant work on forensic medicine by any civilization.
This copy is missing the main cover page, prelims and leaves 1-2 of juan 1. Otherwise complete in 6 juan.
Interesting as a well-produced example of Qing period woodblock 'taoyin ben' multiblock printing, there are four colours in all: black woodblock printed text with surtexts in red, blue and yellow inks. Bound western-style.
