A large-format dictionary of Sino-Japanese characters intended to contain all the 'living characters' then used in Japan and thus more comprehensive than the other Japanese-English dictionaries then available. With all readings: 'on', kun and imi, plus Chinese pronunciations and a number of compounds for more important characters. Good firm copy, binding in good condition, clean inside with some slight foxing to preliminary pages.
