Catalogue of an exhibition at the National Palace Museum exploring the life and collecting efforts of the bibliophile Yang Shoujing (1839-1915). Yang assembled two libraries (including many rare items bought whilst living in Japan) and many of the books from his collection (1634 titles) are in the library of the National Palace Museum. Highlights of the collection include Song and Yuan imprints. Illustrated throughout with many rare and interesting works, including much from the Song and Yuan dynasties. Prefaces, introductions to each section and captions to plates in English. Main text in Chinese.
