Changsha ceramics flourished during the Tang dynasty and this well-illustrated work shows hundreds of examples of glazed painted wares from one particular kiln complex, the Beibai kilns. A variety of ceramics are shown with varied painted designs including ewers, small bowls, jars, pillows, small figurines and more besides.
