From the collection of the Guilin Museum. The majority excavated from the tombs of the Princes of Jingjiang - a fiefdom in existence in the Guilin area in the Ming dynasty. 90 blue-and-white and 18 meiping with colour decoration are illustrated and described, some with close-up detail. Unusual decoration and styles abound, some unique. Divided into sections by design motif on the meiping: Dragon and Phoenix; Flower, Fish and Animals; Figures; and a final section on the 18 meiping with colour decoration.
