A total of 145 wonderful examples of Jun ware dating from the Northern Song through to the Yuan, together with a number of Qing dynasty pieces emulating Jun ware. All published in full page colour, many in multiple views and with bases shown. Numerous pieces illustrated actual size. The pieces shown predominantly come from the Gugong Palace Museum in the Forbidden City in Beijing and the majority of these from the Qing court collection. A few comparative examples shown come from other museums. Preface, abstract of essay, list of plates and captions to plates in English. Main text in Chinese. This book is a near copy of a work published in a smaller format in 2013 but the photography here is far superior and, as stated, many pieces shown actual size.
