Volume 28 in this excellent series covering the treasures of the Gugong Museum in Beijing. This work shows 86 superb examples of Chinese archaeological objects in various media dating from the Shang dynasty through to the Yuan dynasty and which bear inscriptions. Includes oracle bones, bronze vessels, tile-ends and steles. These are followed by 121 wonderful examples of sculpture dating from the Warring States to the Qing.
