The Wuzhou kilns are located in China's Jiangxi province and have an extremely long history of production from Neolithic times through to the Yuan dynasty. The kilns primarily produced wares with brown iron oxide glazes. This work shows fine examples of intact ceramics produced throughout the kiln's history with many pieces from the Han, Western Jin and Song. Arranged in a somewhat random non-chronological manner. The pieces shown come from 13 local museums and collections in Jiangxi. Illustrated throughout in colour. Text in Chinese.
