Dalton also wrote 'The Wolf-Boy of China'. His fictional writings on China seem to stem from a growing interest in Britain with regard to China following the First Opium War, the establishment of Hong Kong and the opening of the treaty ports. Waterstain to left margin of frontispiece impinging on image. Otherwise clean.
