The Jiang family manor is located in Mizhi county in the north of China's Shaanxi province and is a large and extensive complex that, interestingly, combines the distinctive domestic cave architecture of the area with the established norms of Chinese architecture of such dwellings of wealthy Chinese. The manor dates from the late Qing dynasty. Illustrated throughout and with interesting text on the manor itself plus the Jiang family and their history. Dual texts in Chinese and English.
